Thanks to all who made our 3rd Le Gratitude Symposium a great Success. Legratitude.org is a global think tank dedicated to the worldwide research, discussion, and service of gratitude. We aspire to revolutionize the human experience through shared experiences, results, and definitions of gratitude to end internal suffering and build the life of abundance you deserve.
Our 2024 New Year's Day symposium discussed our services in gratitude, resulting in a life of abundance, and welcomed participants and viewers to donate in honor of their gratitude to Heroic Hearts Organization's work to end suffering in Gaza and Palestine.
Many speakers worldwide graced us with their wisdom based on their invaluable experiences at the symposium. Dr. Safi Kaskas provided insights on the differences between thankfulness and gratitude with comparisons between Islam and daily life. Dr. Fayyaz, from Lahore, Pakistan, spoke about his work to provide almost 5,000 cleft palate and fistula victims with life-changing smiles to restore their health and dignity. He spoke about how this work has resulted in a life filled with gratitude for himself and the thousands of patients and medical professionals, they've worked with at the CLAPP Hospital in Pakistan and worldwide. Jefferey Stevens of the Azarias Project spoke on his experiences living in Jerusalem and learning gratitude from the relentlessly positive and resilient Palestinians he had the honor of reporting on. Waddah Sofan expressed his heartfelt gratitude for his life, especially after becoming permanently disabled at 17 years old as a Palestinian who was shot by IDF forces in the West Bank. He says he is now so grateful for his life because he thought it was over, and now he can provide support to folks with disabilities all around the world and can carry out his life calling and support his beautiful family. Dr. Rubia Arshed spoke about the power of being grateful to be in a position to reduce the pain and suffering of others as a physician, and Dr. Hafsa Ahsan, who is a clinical psychologist, discussed the utilization of gratitude jars for clients struggling with disorders and life circumstances. A gratitude jar is where you write on small slips of paper whenever you think of something you are grateful for. After a month, you will see a visual representation of a grateful life, which you can remind yourself of as often as needed.
We are so grateful and honored by everyone who spoke and presented at our third symposium on New Year's day, and we invite you to join us at our next session on Saturday, February 24, 2023. Please click here to sign up on the interest form to attend our next session.
